3 Hour Daily Tours. These are short budget Zulu Tours that you can do from The George Hotel and Zululand Backpackers at a moments notice with competent Engish speaking guides. These tours give you some direct contact with locals or to focus on a subject of your choice.
1.Daily Eshowe Town Zulu Tours.
Eshowe town walking tour.From The George Hotel, a short walk to the Vukani Craft Shop then to the central bus terminus. Here we have a hive of markets all geared to serve the rural folk who come in and out of town by Washesha Bus from rural surrounds.All the activity associated with urban town markets which is the lifeblood to the town.Visit a few shops including an Inyanga / Sangoma selling his Zulu medicine. . Then onto the Zulu Radio Station where you can interact with the local DJ's and hear about their dreams of a better South Africa and what they are doing to help. R100 pp.

Wrecked in Durban harbour and ended up spending three years under Shaka Zulu's care at kwaBulawayo.He was famous for walking to Maputo and back braving crocodile and hippo infested waters. 11. Agricultural Tours. Tours to suit your time and interest.The packing season between May and September for citrus and the cutting season for sugar cane are always good months to tour.(May - Dec). We will check out picking of fruit, cutting and loading of cane and give you an overview of the Citrus and Sugar industries.We will visit Mark Chennells farm "New Venture" and do a tour of his packhouse from where he exports over a million cartons of citrus worldwide.
They also farm bananas. For those interested we also can visit Tomato and Poultry Farms.
